BIOGRAPHY PASTOR CARMEN DEVRIES, TH.B.

Pastor Carmen DeVries and her husband, Pastor Bart DeVries are the senior pastors of Gateway Christian Center in Sarnia, Ontario. Gateway Christian Center is a Holy Spirit filled Praise & Worship Center built upon a New Testament concept.  Pastors Carmen and Bart believe in the full functioning of the five-fold ministry in the church and activate the Body of Christ to flow in the different five-fold gifts.

Twelve years ago Pastor Carmen and Bart received the mandate of the Lord to establish I.C.C. MINISTRIES (International Christian Contacts Ministries), an Apostolic Prophetic Ministry establishing “Unity in the Body of Christ” and “Restoring the Church Foundations”. Pastors’ Carmen and Bart have been in ministry for over twenty years serving and travelling nationally and internationally. In 1998 they were called to move to Canada where they have established a new home base for the ministry.

In the spring of 2005, God called Pastor Carmen to start a special ministry for women. Named after Deborah from the Book of Judges, the Deborah Prayer Company was created with the vision of setting free, activating and releasing women of different Christian backgrounds to fulfill their destiny and make a positive impact on today’s society.

She blesses and encourages many women with her unique ministry style, love for the Word of God and His people.
