A New Season Begins in 2010 - Out of Captivity

I believe that the Church is poised on the brink of a brand new season.  Just as 2010 begins a new decade, I believe that we are turning a corner and entering into a time  of reformation and awakening that is in many ways similar to when the children of Israel came out of Bablylonian captivity.  There are new battles ahead and new ground to be taken, however, it will all be towards the purpose of building and establishing God’s Kingdom in the earth in a whole new way.

2010 will be a year of the wind of the Lord blowing afresh and anew to prepare us for this new season of reformation and awakening.  After Jesus was crucified at Passover and rose from the dead three days later, he was seen of men for 40 days walking on the earth.  Then he ascended to heaven and told His disciples to go back to Jerusalem to wait for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit - the Promise of the Father.  10 days later, when the day of Pentecost was fully come the house where they were assembled was filled with the sound of a rushing mighty wind.  This wind brought the empowerment of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church.  This will be a season of outpouring and birthing of the Holy Spirit.

I recently heard Apostle Gale Sheehan share what he was sensing for this New Year and new season and I really bore witness with it.  He said this would be a year when God would send the second wind.  The second wind is a term used by runners who after running a distance begin to become weak and exhausted and about to give up.  Then they get their "second wind" and suddenly get a burst of energy and strength to go the distance.  This is where the church has been.  Many are weak and exhausted from the battles of the last season, but God is sending His wind of refreshing to give us strength, renewed energy and fresh vision for the new day.

A key verse for this time will be from John 10:10:  The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come that you might have life and life more abundantly. The word "theif" comes from the Greek word "klepto" as in kleptomaniac.  He loves to steal us blind, rob from us and destroy everything that is good and purposeful in our lives.  The Greek word that is translated "more abundantly" means "that which is superabundant in quantity and superior in quality, exceeding abundantly, above and beyond." We need to shake off the lack that has tried to stranglehold our vision in the last several years and believe for God's superabundance in every area of our lives in 2010.

As our friend Chuck Pierce annually points out, the Jewish calendar year begins in the month of September.  This is the year 5770 according to that record. This is the season of AYIN which is a time for the triumph of the church, a time to possess your land and dig new wells, a time to see in a new way.  I believe this is significant as 70 is the number associated with the time of the end of God’s judgment on Judah, the end of Babylonian captivity and the beginning of a brand new season of building and restoring all that was lost during that time.

Similarly, on our Gregorian calendar, this is the year 2010.  In scripture the number 10 denotes judgment fulfilled and a new season beginning.  How we enter this new season will largely depend on how we responded to the testing process of God in the last season.  Some of the significant  indicators of the number 10 in scripture are as follows.

a) The 10 Commandments – these were the standard of moral requirements by while Israel was to be judged.

b) The 10 plagues of Egypt – were God’s instruments of judgment against Egypt at  the appointed time.  I believe this is an appointed time of God’s judgment against His enemies.  As was the case in Egypt when the pre-determined 400 years of bondage were concluded, things got worse for God’s people right before their deliverance came.  I believe many have been in this season of the darkness before the dawn.  Those who position themselves in faith for the new season will see God’s mighty hand of miracles to bring deliverance and pave the way to the promise.

c) 10 is a number that represents the hands of God…..10 fingers – fingers that wrote the 10 commandments, fingers that wrote on the walls of the Babylonian palace, hands that destroyed His enemies.  This will be a year that we will see the manifestation of God’s right hand on the righteous – a hand of blessing, power and favor.  It will also be a year to see God’s left hand manifested against evil and those that oppose His cause – the hand of dishonor or cursing.  A key verse for this year will be concerning the hand of God bringing people out of captivity:

Ex 3:20-22  So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst; and after that he will let you go. 21 And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed. 22 But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, namely, of her who dwells near her house, articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons and on your daughters. So you shall plunder the Egyptians."

Ex 15:6  "Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces.

God does not just release His hand against our enemies but will often ask us what He asked Moses when He said, “What is in your hand?”  The  hand represents power and authority as well as our ability put into action.  God wants to place His hand over our hands and release new positions of authority and new resources of power to be utilized for our victory and deliverance.  Again, this involves the right hand of blessing and favor and authority.  The right hand is also the hand that holds the sword, the Word of the Lord. There is a new prophetic sharpness coming to those who will take the time to press in and listen on a new level.  The left hand is the hand that holds the shield - the shield of faith.  This will be a year of faith expansion as we wield the sword of the Word of the Lord.

d) 10 is the prevailing number in measuring the tabernacle, the temple and New Jerusalem.  This will be a year of measuring and aligning to proper structure and standards.

e) 10 is the number used by Jesus as a standard of measuring our right response to God’s dealings:

a. 10 virgins – 5 fell asleep and 5 entered into the celebration

b. 10 talents – one invested poorly and was judged severely

c. 10 cities – the reward given to those that invest their talents wisely

d. 10 lepers – only one returned to give thanks after being healed.

f) 10 is the primary number tied to financial matters as God emphasizes the covenant tithe (10%).  Malachi 3 tells  us of the reward and judgment according to how we respond to the tithe.  The word tithe comes from the Hebrew word asar –  to accumulate, the tithe from the root word ashar – to accumulate to the extent of the digits (fingers), specifically to grow and make rich.  This will be a year of seeing God’s covenant promises fulfilled as we keep covenant with God through our tithe.

g) 10 continues to denote judgment on His enemies:

a. 10 toes on Nebuchadnezzar’s statue which are destroyed by a “kingdom of iron”.  Dan 2:41-44 – Iron is a symbol of God’s judgment

b. 10 horned beast in Revelations 7 (representing 10 kings, nations or kingdoms) the 11^th arose from the midst and made war with the saints and prevailed against them until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was made in favor of the saints!

Out of Captivity

Judah was held in Babylonian captivity for 70 years.  70 is 10 times 7.  7 is the number of completion, perfection and covenant.  God’s dealings with Judah were not because of His hatred towards them, but rather because of His great love.  His dealings with His Church have been out of covenant, and the time of completion is now at hand.

When the fullness of time came and it was time for captivity to end the following things occurred which I believe parallel what God has been doing in this last season and will do in this next season.

1) Release is preceeded by the intercession of the prophets who have discerned the times.

In the 1980’s God restored the ministry office of the prophet.  Shortly afterwards the prayer movement began which has continued the last 20 years.  People began to pray believing that God could save not just individuals but cities and nations as well.  Prior to Israel’s release from Egypt God raised up the prophet Moses who heard God say it was time for captivity to end.  Before it was all over, Pharoah’s heart got even harder towards the people of Israel and made their lives even more miserable.  But then they were released.   Prior to the end of Babylonian captivity it was the prophet Daniel who read the words of Jeremiah and began to repent and pray regarding the freedom of Judah. (Jer 25:11; Dan 9:2) Then along came Belshazzar – the most arrogant of kings.  It actually got worse before it got better.  But then we see God’s hand- His fingers writing on the wall – and judgment came upon the enemies of God as favor was released on God’s people.

Intercessors need to shake off the weariness of the last season and even the doubt that has arisen.  Since many saw things get worse, a cynicism has arisen that has caused some to doubt that their prayers have an effect on the earth realm.  Arise Intercessors.  This is your greatest hour!

2) A Decree is Made by the Authority in the Land for Release

This has been a season of apostles, prophets and even the saints realizing the power of spiritual legislation through releasing a decree.  It has the power to shift everything. Pharoah made a decree of release for Israel and Cyrus made a decree of release for Judah.  I believe that the Church is going to gain tremendous favor from some civil leaders that will advance the Kingdom cause.  Just as Pharoah and Cyrus weren’t righteous men but worked with the purposes of God, they didn’t just release the people from captivity but also added that the people be given wealth and finances as they went.  I believe there will be those who put their money where their mouth is and actually release finances for the Kingdom.  I even feel that President Obama is going to end up making some decrees that unknown to him, will promote the cause of the Kingdom and even designate some finances towards the cause of reformation.

3) Fathers (Apostles) put in their proper place.

One crucial element of bringing people out of captivity is the promotion and position of the fathers.  In Moses’ day his leaders, Dathan, Korah and Abiram and the chief princes of Israel ended up fashioning the golden calf and leading Israel into idolatry against God and rebellion against Moses.  It was largely because of the failed leadership of those serving under Moses that ended up resulting in Israel’s failure to enter in to their promised land and causing them to wander in the wilderness until they died.

On the other hand, in the book of Ezra one of the first things to occur after Cyrus’s decree is that the fathers were put back in position.  They led the people back to Jerusalem and immediately began re-laying the foundation of the temple. Zerubbabel was their leader.  His name means “seed of Babylon, to flow away from confusion dispersion of confusion”  The Zerubbabels are arising and breaking the yoke of confusion that has caused the cause of the Church to become watered down through religion, fear of man and being politically correct!

4) The Father’s (apostles) rebuilt the foundations and ushered in a sound of worship.

In Ezra 3 we see the father’s (heads of the father’s  houses) organizing the people for restoration and reformation.  The last 30 years have been spent restoring prophets, apostles and saints to their place so they could be mobilized to build.  It’s time to build.  As in the days of Nehemiah, we will build with a sword in one hand and a building tool in the other.  The sword will be the Word of the Lord and the building tool will be the apostolic strategy to advance.

They also ushered in a new sound of worship in the midst of the city of God as they were in the restoration process.  There will continue to be new sounds of worship released with an impact of breakthrough, miracles and the power of the presence of God like never before.

5) Contending with Unrighteous Decrees

Just as release from captivity come through decrees so also, delay and disappointment comes through the decrees of the enemy as well.  In Ezra 4 Ahasuerus issued some decrees that halted the building process of restoring the temple. According to Browns-Drivers-Briggs the name Ahasuerus means “I will be silent and poor”.  I believe this is one of the spirits we are contending with during this season, one that will attempt to rob the voice of the Church as well as bring us back into an impoverished state of captivity.  Remember, we have been released from the last season of captivity, but we must choose to hear the Word of the Lord through the prophets to reject the decrees of darkness that will attempt to hold us in our old state.

6) A New Release of Wealth!

This will be one of the most important aspects of this new season.  In both examples from scripture great wealth was released as the people of God came out of captivity.  When Israel was released from Egypt, they didn’t come out empty-handed but took the wealth of their Egyptian neighbors and put it on their sons and daughters.  This is our challenge to think generationally regarding the new wealth creation and wealth transfer season we are coming in to.

Likewise, when Judah came out of captivity Cyrus decreed the release of wealth for them to rebuild as did the second Darius and Artaxerses.  There was a continual release of wealth to accomplish the rebuilding of the temple.  It might also be noted that this temple was twice the size as Solomon’s temple and was constructed primarily with Babylonian wealth.  Look for opportunities that will release the wealth for this new season of advancing.

Unfortunately, when Israel came out of Egypt they took all the Egyptian wealth and used it to build the golden calf of idolatry.  We must be careful to realize that as God releases wealth in this new season it is for the purpose of building and advancing the Kingdom.  Great strategy is needed to do the right thing with the wealth that comes in, lest we use it to erect monuments to ourselves or to fall into the hands of Mammon and begin being enslaved by the very wealth God has blessed us with.

The number 70 is mentioned as the time not only of Babylonian captivity, but also 70 years of judgment against Tyre.

Isa 23:17-18  At the end of seventy years, the Lord will deal with Tyre. She will return to her hire as a prostitute and will ply her trade with all the kingdoms on the face of the earth. 18 Yet her profit and her earnings will be set apart for the Lord; they will not be stored up or hoarded. Her profits will go to those who live before the Lord, for abundant food and fine clothes.

This will truly be a time when the kingdoms of the world will begin to serve the kingdoms of God.  In both the Babylonian and Tyre examples we see a depiction of the finances controlled by Satan.  Both of these kingdoms are illustrations of the kingdom of darkness in the earth.  Isaiah calls Lucifer the “king of Babylon” and Ezekiel 28 calls him the “prince of Tyre”.  Both indicate a shift after 70 years, when the wealth of wickedness gets put into the hands of the righteous.

7) A Governmental Shift takes place

This will be a surprising year of major governmental shifts.  In Ezra 7, post-captivity government was restored to the land of Israel.  The unrighteous were shifted out and the righteous were set in.  Even the battle over the courts will see new life as it was commanded to set in righteous judges in the land.

Ezra 7:25-28

25 And you, Ezra, in accordance with the wisdom of your God, which you possess, appoint magistrates and judges to administer justice to all the people of Trans-Euphrates — all who know the laws of your God. And you are to teach any who do not know them. 26 Whoever does not obey the law of your God and the law of the king must surely be punished by death, banishment, confiscation of property, or imprisonment.  27 Praise be to the Lord, the God of our fathers, who has put it into the king's heart to bring honor to the house of the Lord in Jerusalem in this way 28 and who has extended his good favor to me before the king and his advisers and all the king's powerful officials. Because the hand of the Lord my God was on me, I took courage and gathered leading men from Israel to go up with me.  NIV

PROPHETIC WORD FOR 2010 GIVEN BY DR. BILL HAMON - JANUARY 13, 2010

Positioned to Win in 2010 by Receiving our Holy Spirit Second Wind. 

In 2010 a new reviving and enabling Wind of the Holy Spirit is suddenly going to sweep through the Church like a second wind for an exhausted runner.

We are going through the Esther process to be Positioned to Win the great battle between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. Esther went through the preparation of the bitter and the sweet.  We have been going through the sweet of blessings and the bitter of pressure, problems and lack.  Esther’s preparation was completed and then she went before the King in the 10th month.  Esther received Grace and Favor from the king and was chosen to be queen and Positioned to Win. (Esther 2:8-18)

The Church is going before King Jesus this 10th year of 2000.  There will be ones who are called, chosen, appointed and Position to Win in 2010.  Christ’s Third Reformation people are being prepared and positioned to be at the right place at the right time with queenly authority to make the decree that will give the Church the Victory.

God’s Timing and Purposes Being Accomplished:

1987  - 2007 Time of Restoration and activation of Prophets & Apostles
10 years for the restoration of the Prophets and 10 years for the Apostles

2007 The birthing of the Saints Movement, activating Kingdom Saints.

2008 Third Church Reformation, Decreed and trumpeted in Heaven by the Angels.  Proclaimed on Earth by the Prophets and Apostles.

The Saints of the three year old Saints Movement and the two year old Era of the Third Reformation will begin to walk and talk which means we will be able to demonstrate and communicate this to the world.  The Holy Spirit will continue to mature the saints until they are able to fulfill the purpose of the Saints Movement and Third Reformation of the Church.  When each of us understand God’s purpose in these areas then we know why we are going through certain processes and what we need to do to advance God’s kingdom and fulfill our personal life and ministry in Christ.

In 2010, like Esther, we receive authority from the King of Kings to write the decree.  King Jesus authorizes it by His signet ring which gives us the “The Right To Fight Back” to preserve our lives, families and possessions. We will then begin to prosper in our lives and ministries.  We are given the right to fight and destroy our enemies who have made their decree to destroy us.  Prepare for the greatest battle ever!  Rejoice for we have been prepared and Positioned to Win in 2010.


SEARCH THE 20:10's TO FIND GOD’S W0RD FOR 2010

God spoke to me to search all the 20:10's in the Pentateuch (first five books of the Bible) and the story around the 10th verse of the 20th chapter of each book would reveal what God will be doing for us and what we should be doing in 2010.

Genesis 20:10
The story of Abimelech restoring Sarah back to Abraham.  Abraham told Abimelech that Sarah was his sister (a half-truth she was his half-sister). Abimelech took her to his harem, but God spoke to him in a dream, told him that she was Abraham’s wife and that he would be a dead man if he touched Sarah. Abimelech restored Sarah to Abraham and blessed him with wealth, position and place in Canaan.

2010 is the year that God is going to redeem and restore what we lost because of our fears, statements and decisions concerning family, ministry, property and finances.  God will sovereignly move on non- Christians to restore to God’s people and even bless them with wealth.  We will bless them like Abraham who prayed for Abimelech’s household who were made barren because of him taking Sarah.

Exodus 20:10
This is the chapter where God gave the 10 commandments to Moses.  Verse 10 is the 4th Commandment concerning keeping God’s Sabbath rest.  In 2010 God will reveal more of His will and ways for His Church to be like Him and do his mighty kingdom works.  2010 will require that we enter God’s rest, which is complete confidence, faith and trust in Him, cease our own self-efforts and do the works of Christ.  To make it victoriously we must live and work in the joy of the Lord and peace of God that comes from 100% reliance and trust in Jesus Christ.

Leviticus 20:10
Chapter 20 of Leviticus covers all the different forms of immorality that requires the penalty of death, bareness or excommunication from God’s people. —adultery, fornication, homosexuality, incest, sex among relatives, sex with animals, any sexual activity other than between husband and wife. 

In 2010 God will be exposing and judging all forms of immorality within the Church especially among church leaders.  Get rid of your sin before it gets rid of you.  God is intensifying the cleansing of His Church.

Numbers 20:10
This passage tells the story of the Israelites murmuring, complaining and accusing God’s leaders, Moses and Aaron, of not doing right by them.  God tells Moses to speak to the rock and God would supernaturally bring an abundant supply of water for Israel.  Instead of speaking to the rock Moses struck it twice out of frustration which was not according to God’s directives.

In 2010 God will bring a supernatural supply of provisions for His people.  Don’t look to the ground (self & natural) but look to the Rock (Christ’s supernatural supply from impossible places).

In 2010 leaders will be tested on their obedience to follow God’s prophetic directives.  Moses failed the test and did it his way causing God to cancel his right to enter his inheritance in Canaan. 

Many destinies will be determined this year by our decision and actions concerning following God’s word, will and way exactly without compromise.

Murmurers, complainers and accusers of God’s appointed leadership will be judged and sentenced to wander in the wilderness till they die.

Deuteronomy 20:10
This is the chapter on God’s principles for battles, warfare and directives for conquered lands.  We have entered our Canaan Land of the Third and Final Church Reformation.  We have “ites”that God says must be destroyed out of our lives, not just subdued but completely eradicated and replaced with the character of Christ.  Third Reformation Reformers must begin battling against the enemies of the kingdoms of God and replace them with the Kingdom of God.

ATTITUDE Saints must have toward BATTLE and WARFARE:
Deuteronomy 20:1-4 “When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.  So it shall be when you are on the VERGE OF BATTLE, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people.  And he shall say to them, 'Hear, O Israel: TODAY, YOU ARE ON THE VERGE OF BATTLE with your enemies.  Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them.  For the LORD YOUR GOD is He who goes WITH YOU to FIGHT FOR YOU AGAINST YOUR ENEMIES, TO SAVE YOU!'”

This is applicable to the saints in 2010 for we are on the verge of battle to fight and overcome spirits of poverty, sickness, passivity and a host of opposing demonic enemies who are assigned to keep us from possessing our promised land, prospering and demonstrating the Kingdom of God.

Those who are the qualified and unqualified to go to battle win the war against the enemy:
Verse 8 says those who are fearful and faint of heart are not allowed to go to the battle, “Let him go and return to his house, lest the heart of his brethren faint like his heart.”

This is the reason we have had people leaving prophetic apostolic churches who believe and practice spiritual warfare.  They are leaving and going back to denominational churches or seeker-friendly churches who do not believe or practice spiritual warfare.  

God’s Gideon-300 Reformers.   God gave the same commission to Gideon when he was preparing to go to War.  He told all that were fearful and afraid to go home and 22,000 out of the 32,000 who had originally responded to the trumpet call for war left leaving 10,000.  The 10,000 were tested at the river and 300 met the requirements.  The 300 were then Positioned to Win.  Like Joshua, all who have passed the two tests of fearfulness and selfishness are now being equipped and Positioned to Win in 2010.

Verse 10 begins the directives of war against the nations outside of Canaan and those inside Israel’s promised land of Canaan.  Outside Canaan, Israel could make peace with them, but inside Canaan they were to kill every human being.  God is saying in 2010 what is outside of us we can make peace with, but what is inside of us that is not Christ’s character and nature must be utterly destroyed.

2 Chronicles 20:10
The Lord lead me to one more book beyond the five of the Pentateuch, 2 Chronicles. God is going to let us destroy enemies that were passed by before, but now they are coming against us to cast us out of our God given possessions which God has given us to possess.

The present truth Church has been facing this great host which we have seemingly had no power against.  But now in 2010 God is going to do the same for us as he did for Jehoshaphat—Give prophetic encouragement and strategy for winning and supernaturally fight for us by confusing the enemy and causing them to destroy each other.  Our responsibility is to gather the spoil and strip the enemy of all he has.
Deuteronomy 20:20 says, “Believe God and you shall be established, believe His prophets and you shall prosper”

God wants us to go over our prophecies concerning what God has promised us and any directives that were given.  Follow the directives and decree each word promised as the true word of God to us, then continually make faith confessions until all our prophetic promises are prospering in our lives.  Let God be true and every contradicting evidence a lie.  Romans 3:4 says, “Let God be true but every man a liar.  As it is written, that you may be justified in you words, and may overcome when you are judged.”

PROPHETIC WORD FOR CANADA GIVEN BY TERESA SEPUTIS - FEBRUARY 2, 2009

The nation of Canada is at a critical point in it's development. It is standing at a crossroads, about to choose the path that the nation
will walk down for the next several generations. One path will lead to prosperity and blessings, but the other path (which looks attractive
to many) will lead to destruction and despair. And the Lord has put the power within His people to determine which path their nation will
choose. He has given them authority in prayer and intercession, but they must stand and use it before it is too late!

The enemy of all nations has had it's eye on Canada for some time, and has many spiritual forces in place, ready to sweep in and build
strongholds of evil in this nation. They have not been able to gain the access they desired before, because of solid foundations laid
long by believers and godly men and women. But those foundations of righteousness have been weakening over time, and now they are at
the place where the enemy is ready to challenge them.

A wave of corruption and hedonism is going to sweep in from the south, if Canadian believers do not stand up in prayer and challenge
it. This is the same wave that swept through the United States some years before and crumbled that nation's foundations of righteousness.
Now it wants to move north and expand its territory by doing the same thing there. There is also a wave of oppression and lack that is going
to sweep across the ocean from the northernmost part of Russia, which will fuel many people's desire to be ruled by this spirit of hedonism
and self-indulgence. This is the enemy's plan to build a stronghold in Canada, so that he might be able to work his corruption and destruction
in much greater measure upon this land.

However, the Lord is with Canada and has many great plans for this nation. And He has put a key within His people that can destroy the
devils plans against your nation. In fact, He even wrote that key into your national anthem--God wants the believers in Canada to stand up in
prayer and righteousness. He wants them to "stand on guard" for their nation through intercession and through the workings of righteousness
in love. People of God in Canada, if you will rise to the challenge, as soldiers and prayer warriors in the army of God, you can guard
your nation from the enemy's evil plans against it. The Lord has empowered Canadian believers to defeat the devil's strategies against
your nation, but you have to stand up in prayer and stand on guard for Canada in order to accomplish this.

So, Canadian saints of God, consider this a call to prayer from the Lord God almighty. As you pray, He will empower those prayers so that
your nation will be kept safe from the enemy's plans to destroy it.

You ask, how shall we pray? Well, the Lord has already put a guideline for you to pray in your national anthem. Pray that God will keep your
nation glorious and free. That means that His righteousness and purity will prevail in your nation, that the foundation of holiness
that is there will strengthen and that people's hearts will be drawn to Him. Pray for His presence to inhabit your land and fill it with
His glory, because His presence and His glory will indeed make Canada a glorious nation.

Then pray that the enemy's plans to bring people into bondage be prevented and destroyed, so that the people in Canada will remain free.
And of course, pray for the unsaved to come to know Him, so that they might enjoy tree liberty from the power of sin and death in Christ.

Rise up O believers in Canada and accept the Lord's invitation to stand on guard for your nation through prayer and intercession. As
you do, the Lord will empower your prayers and you will see His glory and His righteous and His blessings prevail in your nation.

Give Me your high praise! The enemy will be shattered when you give Me your all. Don't stop! But shake of the religion and step into the radical high praise says God! 

For this is your time to move with My spirit! If you can’t give Me high praise the enemy will overtake your mind. But if you give Me your all I will overtake the enemy for you! My covenant with you is to take your place in My purpose for you!

Come you are Mine and I am your says God. Let Me change your way of thinking! The old has to go! Stop complaining and mumbling, but give Me your high praise! I will bring a transformation through you if you allow Me to prune you. You will make a difference in your surrounding! I want to shine through you. Come My bride, come says God.

There will be only a few that will understand high praises and you are one of them, but allow Me to prune you and you will make it and fulfill My purpose for you, not your purpose but My purpose says God. You are My general, you're My called out ones, you are My bride says the spirit of God.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR 2009 GIVEN BY PASTOR BART DEVRIES - JANUARY 1, 2009
For the Spirit of the Lord is saying: “As old things go by, new things will come.” Make room for the new things in 2009 as you have been holding on to the old for too long, says the Spirit of God. For in the time to come I will exercise extreme judgment upon the face of the earth, the church, and you as an individual. “For ye, do not be afraid, as those who will walk in my righteousness and repentance shall not be touched.”

The year 2009 will be a year of spiritual cleaning, renovation, and restoration. Some of the old has to be broken down for the new to build up. “As I execute My judgment, as My hand and Spirit sweeps over the earth, as I will visit My bride, I will cause a conviction to come forth among My sons and daughters.” This is the time that I will and shall deal with the works of men, finish them off to make room for a pouring out of new wine in 2009.

For even in the midst among you I will raise up and commission a remnant for My sole purposes, says the Spirit of God. Those who will go forth in the power and the might of My Spirit, but most of all they will step out in a new faith and new boldness. It will be a year to think different, be different, go different, do different, say different, and act different for the ways of old will not prevail.

A birthing forth among the remnant and a greater awareness of what I want to do will start to take place as the fear of the Lord will be overwhelming and convicting. For ye the Lord would say that this will be a year of a great extravaganza for the purposes of His Kingdom. For those who walk with Him, not those who walk beside Him, but for those who walk with Him, 2009 will be a year of unmerited favor and blessings in many areas of their lives. They will start to experience a favor of the Lord, an open Heaven, and a release of signs, wonders, and miracles as never before.

Be prepared as God is calling forth His judgment in areas of faithfulness, commitment, and loyalty as He is a jealous God. Your agendas must be filled with appointments with God, and if necessary make room for anything else as the Spirit is calling upon His people to be completely sold out to Him.

There will be yet another sifting and shifting says the Spirit of God, but for those who are serious with Me it will go by unnoticed as part of the process I have already revealed to them. I am shaking up My church, yes My church and not your church, says the Spirit of the Lord. For too many, and for too long you have been building your church. In 2009 I want to build My church, says the Spirit of the living God.

For 2009 will be a year of great and extended opportunities. Keep walking in the momentum of the Spirit and you shall succeed. Keep walking in My strength and not yours and you shall succeed.

Proverbs 3:3-6 says: “Do not let your kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

For many of you have been asking, “Lord where are you?”, while I was there all the time. You weren’t able to see Me, feel Me, experience Me, and hear Me for your eyes, your ears, and your hearts were contaminated with the pleasures of the world.

2009 is the time to get rid of all distractions and be real with Me as I want to be real with you says the Spirit of God. For many were taken by surprise by the unexpected turns in the worldly system for they have not been listening to what I have been speaking. 2009 is a new time for new wine, says the Spirit of the living God. Walk close with Me and you will hear, you will know, and you will see and nothing shall take you by surprise anymore.

2009 is a new time for you and for My church. 2009 is a new time for the relationship between you and Me. 2009 is a new time and a new beginning for you, says the Spirit of God.

For ye I am calling you to rise up, to stand up, to be My voice and walk in new and bold ways. Do not be afraid, but be alert. Do not wonder, but draw near and you will find rest.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR 2008 GIVEN BY PASTOR BART DEVRIES - JANUARY 1, 2008
For the Lord would say that the year 2008 will be a year of extra-ordinary fulfillment of destiny, calling and prophecy says the Spirit of God. Many have been waiting to see visions come to fulfillment, restoration take place, replevin to manifest in their lives but they have grown weary in the process and have therefore have not received it yet.

As a result the Spirit of God says that rebellion started to rise up within my house in 2006 and 2007, but as in the days of the prophet of old Ezekiel, where the house of Israel was saying that the vision is for many years from now, and the prophecies of times far off, thus says the Lord God, “None of My words will be delayed any longer. Whatever word I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.” (Eze. 12:27,28) 

For the Lord says I am going to strike out every form of rebellion in My house with fire. Many will not be able to stand the heat and will fall away, but those who allow the fire to purify them will be positioned and accelerate in 2008. I am calling My Body forth in One Voice, says the Spirit of God. 

For ye the Lord would say that even in this hour, in this present day I am positioning my people to possess the gates in 2008. I am stirring up the faith in those who have heard the Word, to move forward and not stand still, to attack and not defend, to possess and not let go, to war and not be defeated, to shout and not be quiet, to be conquerors and not surrender, in order to be positioned strategically by My Spirit for one of the greatest moves of My hand and My Spirit on the face of the earth to come.  

The year 2008 will be time of new beginnings for many among My Body, says the Spirit of God. Do no longer hold on to things happened in the past, do not longer hold on to the things of old, for this surely will be a time of renewing and refreshing says the Spirit of God. You will have to let go of the ways of old in order to be able to embrace what I am about to do and perform in 2008. A reformation will start to take place in the church as part of the shifting and sifting started in 2006 and 2007. As many in the Body have suffered tremendous storms and challenges in the last two years, things which seemed strange eyes in the eyes of men, the Lord would say that this was necessary for the positioning of His people, says the Spirit of God.  

In the year 2008 you will not only posses the gates of your families, relationships, finances, churches, jobs, cities, and regions, but the Lord would say that in 2008 it is time for His Body to accelerate!  

He is positioning men and women of strong faith to accelerate in 2008, says the Spirit of God. For fulfillment to come we have to dive in, dive deep, fly high, and no longer postpone that what God has called us to do. For the Lord would say: it is over with the times of hesitation and procrastination, but this is a season for declaration and destination, says the spirit of God. 

For ye the Spirit of God would say that He is calling forth His people to be positioned through faith, commitment, devotion, sacrifice, surrender, worship, and offering. Possessing the gates in 2008 is a time of processing says the Spirit of God. I will be testing you, I will be processing you, says the spirit of God. Just like the clay on the potters wheel, the rough edges of unbelief will have to go says the Lord. For ye my sons and daughters, if you allow My Spirit to take over in your lives, your jobs, your families, your finances, your worship, you will see the unseen, you will experience the unexperienced.  

The Lord would say, that He is calling His people to become more radical and sold out to Him alone. Part of the processing will be the test of endurance says the Spirit of God. Do you really trust me, or are your own thoughts getting in the way of what I am about to do. For as the Word says: “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval.”, the Lord is going to stir up a deeper level of faith and trust in His generals in 2008. 

For 2008 will be the time for His army to accelerate. It will be a time of war, but surely it will be a season of the greatest victories says the Spirit of the Lord. For surely I have released that anointing upon my people to accelerate in 2008 says the Spirit of God. For ye My sons and My daughters this is the time for you to be positioned, this is the time for you to dive deep and fly high, for the harvest is bountiful at the gates in 2008.  

The Lord would say that He is raising up churches, bringing men and women of likeminded spirits and believes together for such a time as this. For the Spirit says, He is raising up an army among His people who will be the forerunners to usher in the next move of My Spirit and My hand says the Lord God. 

Many have said: “I want to be part of it”, and the Spirit of the Lord would say: “Are you ready to step in totally, are you ready to serve without an undivided heart, are you ready to let go of you, and let in of Me?”, says the Spirit of God. For the lord says that in 2008 He will accelerate His government on this earth, and in His church. Apostles and Prophets will start to come forth and declare and decree the word of the Lord from the four corners of the earth, says the spirit of the Lord. My church will start to rise up in power and might! For many are called, but few are chosen, the Lord would say position yourself My son and My daughter. Position yourself for the things of above and not beneath. Many have not seen the power of Me what I wanted to release, for they have chosen for, depended on, and preferred the temporary things of this world they live in, instead of reaching out to the permanent things of heaven. For ye the Spirit of God would say, “Surely My people a divided heart will bring decay.” 

I am calling you forth today to make a stand for Me alone. Unite your heart and spirit with My Spirit and heart, says the Lord God and you will see that what I have promised coming to fulfillment. Do not give up, but stand strong, do not bow down, but step up, do not be silent but prophesy and decree My Word, says the Spirit of the Lord. 

In 2008 I will open the gates, and you will accelerate!

“I will shake the earth.  The five powers that have tried to control My people are being shaken now says the Spirit of God.  You may wonder what it is; I'm giving them to you what the enemy stole at the turn of the century.  Azusa, this they called the revival of the beginning of the last century.  Now God says a greater than Azusa revival, greater than any century has ever delivered because I am bringing down the five powerful forces and they will never control My people again. I will come into your home over the season that they call My birthday, nevertheless I will come into your house and what you have lost in 2007 I will give back to you in 2008 says the Spirit of the Living God.”

PROPHETIC WORD GIVEN BY DR. CHUCK PIERCE - WATCHMAN INTERCESSOR CONFERENCE APRIL 3, 20077
“I would say to you, I am beginning to dredge the river of my people. I am beginning to cause sediment that has filtered in and even created a narrow place to be removed in a new way. The river within you will begin to expand. That which has not been able to carry the supply in, that needs to be carried into you, will now be made wide for Me to bring in in a new way. I am scraping the bottom of that which has held you and filled in so that a pure flow of My Spirit can no longer flow. There's a sound of scraping going on on the inside of you that is releasing a waterway in you that has not flowed in many years. You have experienced a ripple, but now you will begin to feel the waves that overtake you. I will wave over you during the night seasons. You will awaken with a blanket of My glory upon you, and you will say, ‘Lord I'm drowning in this glory.' But I would say to you, I am permeating your body with glory until you shine fully in this hour. For the night season is now encroaching, but I have a people for whom I am opening up a way to fill with the river of My glory.

“I would say to you, the hammers of My heavens are beginning to strike the nations – for there are nations that are not in harmony with My plan at this time. But I will begin to create a new harmony. The hammer of My word will now begin to form over nation after nation. And I will raise up My prophetic people and they will decree a thing in a nation and the hammer will begin to fall. The sound of the hammer is beginning to sound over nation to nation to nation throughout this earth. My people will be used to cause My hammer to come from the heavenlies and enter into the earth realm this season. You will begin to move in and say, ‘God, teach us about the nations.' For there is an inheritance in My people that I will now release for there are things in them that you feel are moving that must break forth at this time. As nations are prophesied to, that bloodline within My people will begin to be freed in a new way.

“Get ready for a supernatural deliverance to come to you that will cause your thoughts to change radically. For many of My people are invested with legal ways of thinking, and I am going to deliver them from legality, saith the Lord. These seven days I have gathered you here, to cause you to hear a sound that has not been heard. I say listen carefully for the instruments of this place will begin to prophesy in a new way. Many of you have become used to and familiar with the sound you hear, but I am going to penetrate your familiar sound with new sound, saith the Lord. I say, no longer remain familiar at this time with that which you have grown used to, for now the change has begun. I will go deep and deliver you and unroot the fear of the future that is in you.

“These seven days I will put a watchman anointing on My people. And it came to pass at the end of the seven days, after hearing the sounds of the heavens, that the word of Lord came and said, son of man, I have made you a watchman. I have brought you here to covenant with you and make you the watchmen for My future. I say, be willing to go past every oppression that has held your bloodline, and you will find yourself rejoicing in the end of these seven days and joy will propel you and strength will overtake you. And you will be energized to enter the future with new vision, saith the Lord.

“I say to you that even at the end of these seven days, I am going to expose that which is working in the North against My covenant plan. I am going to even uncover the rule that is happening. My people are allowing a nation to rule you that should not be ruled at this time. I will have you understand the depths of what is coming out of Gog and Magog that is ruling you during this hour. I say to you, this is a time of liberation. Take your liberation now and watch Me break you into your future, saith the Lord.

“…Even in this place there will be a decision made, for I am beginning to set a court over this place. And the court of heaven will invade this atmosphere and you will begin to determine that which will rule in days ahead.”

 2007 WORD OF THE LORD BY DR. CHUCK PIERCE - THE YEAR 5767 A TIME OF MOVEMENT AND CLASHING
We have now entered the Hebraic Year 5767. In Hebrew, these numbers have meaning. This is "The Year of Samekh Zayin!" This means that this will be "The Year That Swords Will Clash." We are still coming full circle in our lives, but this is the year that the Sword of the Lord becomes the central figure in our journey.

This war season that we are living in will be a year of great shaking and quaking! The Lord spoketo us this past weekend as we celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles and said: "Plant your feet! Ready yourself for change! You are entering a year of shaking and quaking! This year will be known as the Year of Holy Spirit! This will be the year the RIVERS will rise!

Watch where the heavens open and floods (physical) reach the earth, and document those places! Those are places targeted for a Holy Spirit invasion. Rising flood waters will cause you to move to higher ground. As the River of Holy Spirit rises you will find yourself moving to the high places. I will position My people on the high places this year. As you worship, I will cause ruling thrones of iniquity to topple. Like Dagon, their head will fall before My Presence! Get ready! I shake loose wicked structures. Watch in the night and watch Me manifest in the light!"

(This word was spoken on Saturday, October 14, during our Feast of Tabernacles Gathering. On Sunday, October 15, the earthquake hit Hawaii and the flood overtook Houston, Texas.)

Expect the Next Move of the Holy Spirit to Begin!
All "sevens" are dear to the Lord. The number "7" is linked with completion and fulfillment and is the number that the Lord uses to represent the Holy Spirit. The Seven-Fold Spirit and the candle in the Book of Revelation are important for us to understand this year: "...Directly in front of His Throne were SEVEN-lighted lamps representing the Seven-Fold Spirit of God" (Revelation 4:2-5).

Isaiah 11:2, says, "The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him, the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, power, knowledge, and of the fear of the Lord!" Ask the Lord for Holy Spirit to overpower you during this season.

Receive Your Crowns from Last Season's Victories
Many of the tests that have come into our path in the past season have been difficult. However, each test can produce a testimony. When we overcome we receive strength. The Zayin is a "Sword with a Crown." Your tests have sharpened you for the future! Take the crowns from your victories, throw them at His feet and allow Him to release an anointing for you to overcome more this year!

Let Your Sword Be Sharpened! Let the MOVEMENT of Life Begin
The SWORD is a symbol of war (Leviticus 26:25; Isaiah 34:5). These are times that the divine weapon for divine judgment (Deuteronomy 32:41; Psalm 17:13) will take action in the earth. The SWORD is synonymous with POWER and AUTHORITY (Romans 13:4). Learn to exercise the authority you have so you may receive more.

The Lord will balance the scales this year and bring a manifestation of His justice into the earth (Zechariah 13:7). Do not fear! The SWORD produces the protection of God in our lives (Deuteronomy 33:29), signifying the end of the wicked, their tongue and the power of their persecuting spirit (Psalm 37:14-15). Remember that we are in a season of surrounding our enemies and taking back what has been taken. The SWORD is the weapon of plunder. Get ready to recover all!

Let the Swords Clash!
As you enter this year, expect Holy Spirit to move. This is a season and time of great movement!

1. This is the prophet's year! The tongue is a sword, so the Lord will touch and use our mouth this year. Read Isaiah 6. We all prophesy according to our faith. Let faith arise and be unlocked!

2. This is a year of arms and weapons! Many nations will rise against each other. However, God's people will dress for the war ahead and activate their weapons in a new way. Gird yourself with truth, align your shields and sharpen your swords!

3. This will be a TIME of DIVINE confrontations! The conflicts that could hinder your future must be settled. The Lord will orchestrate times of settling disputes (e.g. Jacob/Esau; Joseph/his brothers).

4. We are entering a season in which we must watch for seduction! Do not be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. Be careful! Doctrines of demons will attempt to overpower us and cause us to compromise our faith.

5. In this season, new energy will produce new WINE. This is a season of WINE or revelation! New wine will cause the clashing of the wineskins! Old structures will resist change and rise up with accusations against those who are producing change!

6. This will be a year of GOLD! This will also be a year of GLORY which will produce a brightness, radiance and favor on God's people. Think gold and glory! Currencies will change in relation to the gold base. We will see great headway in the war with MAMMON. This is necessary to see transfer of wealth for Kingdom advance.

7. The best way to understand this season is this: You are entering a year of EXCLAMATION! Everything will be louder and more pronounced! Listen carefully and praise your way into victory. Do not fear violence or fret because of evildoers. You are a two-edged sword!

Do not fear as we enter the last two years of this war season. Go up to the high places that have resisted you in the past and praise and worship our Lord. Watch the "high places" become low as you take a new stand. Let your spirit-man move into an overcoming dimension as you praise!

Psalm 149 says:
"Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, and His praise in the assembly of saints. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people... Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment - this honor have all His saints."

On October 17th, we heard the LORD say the following:
"Things are moving closer to the shore of this nation to shake it. Get ready, for the shaking will begin to come close. It will start on the West and shaketoward the East. I will cause systems and structures in the East to shake. Announce to the West Coast that a shaking is coming. The wave of My Spirit is coming closer to this nation and the wicked will be shaken out as My GLORY rolls across the nation and rearranges it. 'Have you ever given orders to the morning or shown the dawn its place that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it?' (Job 38:12) I AM calling My people to rise up and meet the morning, and decree that evil structures will be shaken!

The shaking from the West and from the East will begin to meet. As Delaware shakes, Philadelphia will begin to shake in a new way. That place where liberty has been crusted over and where God's plan for this nation is being held captive will begin to shake. The wave is coming closer to our shores to shake this nation. Let the wave hit the West. Let the shaking of the East begin. Let the sound of shaking begin. The sound that has been stopped that would bring the shaking is being released from Heaven. Let things that are not connected in the earth, get connected and prepare for the shaking.

Old war methods and strategies will come to an end and be cast down. I AM releasing new strategies of war to tear apart structures that are opposing My plan. These strategies and weapons of war will produce a new anointing for Harvest. The war for the Harvest will now be released in the Middle East! Let things shift. I will now back every soldier and every leader that is battling for My new government to come forth in the earth. A supernatural shield will now be released from Heaven! The plans of the wicked will now shake back upon their own head.

My desire is for a revolution to come on every campus. Call forth a new student revolution. Declare universities will break out of the conformity of the world. Call forth a revolution in Princeton, in the University of Delaware, all along the East Coast, in Harvard and Yale. Let revolution come forth in Kentucky on the campuses. Declare a revolution will come forth at the University of Texas. Call forth revolution and a new wind of the My Spirit to blow in Kansas. Shake up the systems and call forth My Spirit in unusual places that will spark a revolution. Break out of conformity. Mammon has the revolution captured. Break that mammon structure! Change your identity and go into the universities and call out for Me to come.

Reinforce the walls of the West and East Coasts. Call for the Tribes to align and send forth the reinforcements to help My people get positioned with your new weapons on the wall. The sound that has been captured on the West Coast and sent in wrong directions will now be returned to My people and redirected for My purposes. I'm going to cause that sound to start calling in the wave of My Spirit.

I Am the God of Revolution and a new wave of revolution will come into and out of Berkley, UCLA, USC, Pepperdine, the University of Oregon and Oregon State. Even Gonzaga and Washington State will experience an awakening of My purpose. I am calling forth the revolution in San Diego that will awaken the borders of this land. Let the sound come forth on the West Coast to prepare them for the wave that is coming.

To the East, I say, 'You're going to break the fear of shaking. You will no longer calculate how things will end up. You will not be fearful. I will break the liberality that is creating the strength of confusion in this nation and is holding back My true move of liberty. I'm going to shake liberality out until freedom and revolution arise.' The root of witchcraft and religion will now begin to separate. My Spirit will visit St. Louis and there will be a great sound of wailing that arises that births the future of this land. Decree this begins!"
